Starting the project

The project is underway and initial meeting with the project hosts have been conducted. Our motivation for doing this project is to help save lives through predicting floods and to provide emergency services the data required to act appropriately.

Currently, the communities in the project focus areas have minimal trust in the information provided by the SES and the BOM and our hope is to rebuild some trust by giving those services more accurate information, as well as supplying that information directly to the community members.
