Deploying the system

Exciting progress is underway for the Community Flood Intelligence team. After months of preparation, the first prototypes of our rain gauge network are being deployed.

Our first prototype has been up and running for just under 1 month; providing us with useful information for our next batch of prototypes and providing rainfall data which can be viewed by anyone with internet access. The link can be found here.

Our next steps are to deploy more prototypes and to continue assessing our system for reliability, accuracy, and user-friendliness. Minor changes have already been made to the structural design to improve space-efficiency, neatness, and antenna placement.
